Born in California, but living in Texas his whole life , Chef Peter Holt began cooking at a young age and working various positions in his parents restaurants. After realizing it was his passion to cook, he attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, shortly after graduating from high school. Not soon after graduating from the CIA he partnered up with his father Stan Holt, his brother Judson Holt and Paul McElroy to create a restaurant management company and to open several “Lupe Tortilla Mexican Restaurants” in the Houston area. He also along with his father opened “Roadster’s Grill” in Houston. As well with restaurant development he has had the opportunity to work in various food media projects involving food styling and consulting.
