Tanji Patton
Tanji is an Emmy award winning journalist who now pursues her love of 'getting a good story' online at goodtastewithtanji.com. Tanji is also producing a television pilot that is all about great wine finds, good food and fun destinations.
Tanji and her husband, Mike, have visited vineyards all over the world and taken a number of wine courses including one from the prestigious Wine Spirit and Education Trust of London.
Prior to developing Goodtastewithtanji.com, Tanji worked as an investigative reporter, news anchor, producer and host of a live daily talk show. Many of her investigative reports earned statewide and national interest and acclaim. Her coverage of such issues as racial discrimination in the child adoption process led to changes in Texas state law.
Today, in addition to exploring the wine regions of the world, Tanji serves on the board of the New World Wine and Food Festival in San Antonio (www.nwwff.com). She’s also a board member of the Bexar County Family Justice Center, a facility that provides free services to battered women. She is also on the Advisory Committee for the Saturday Morning Discovery Program, a free arts and crafts program for children at the Southwest School of Art and Craft. She is also a volunteer for the United Way.
